What happens to your data

Short and without the legalese: I collect only what I need to answer your enquiry. The site has no cookies and no analytics.

In effect from 23 August 2026

Who processes your data

Tomáš Tesař, company ID 19586558, based in Tábor, Czech Republic. In-Simulation is the name I work under — the data controller is a person, not a company.

For anything to do with your data, reach me at tesar@in-simulation.com or +420 606 074 441.

What I collect and why

When you fill in the contact form, I get your name, email address, optionally a phone number, and the text of your message. I use them for one thing — to reply to you and possibly agree on a project.

The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). I don't need your consent for that, and I can't use it for anything else — no newsletter, no contact database, no offers you didn't ask for.

If you email or call me directly, the same applies.

Who else sees it

I don't sell your data and I don't pass it to anyone for their own purposes. But sending and delivering a message takes a few services that technically process it:

Web3Forms — the service the form is sent through. Besides the fields you fill in, it records your IP address and shows it to me in the notification.

Google Workspace — where the message lands and where I read it.

Vercel — where the site runs. Like any web server, it keeps operational logs that include visitor IP addresses.

If your enquiry turns into a project, my invoicing records also pass through accounting, because the law requires it.

How long I keep it

I keep your enquiry and the correspondence around it for as long as we're talking, and then for up to two years — so that if you come back, we don't start from zero.

If you want it deleted sooner, write to me. You don't have to justify it and I'll do it without undue delay.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, nothing that follows you across the web. That's why there's no consent banner here — there would be nothing to consent to.

The one exception is a note of where you arrived from — an ad, or a link on another site. It stays in your browser's memory until you close the tab, and it leaves only if you send the form yourself: it gets attached to your enquiry so I know what brought you here. It doesn't follow you off this site and it isn't combined with anything else.

Videos are hosted on Vimeo and YouTube, but the player only loads once you click a video. Until then those services know nothing about you. YouTube is embedded through youtube-nocookie.com.

Your rights

You can ask what I hold about you. You can ask for correction, erasure, restriction of processing, or for your data to be moved elsewhere. And you can object to the processing.

Just write to tesar@in-simulation.com. I'll get back to you within a month at the latest, free of charge.

If you feel I'm handling your data badly, you can complain to the Czech Data Protection Authority, Pplk. Sochora 27, Prague 7 — uoou.gov.cz.
